Julie A. Somers

Julie A. Somers, J.D., LL.M., received her J.D. from the North Carolina Central University School of Law, graduating cum laude. She earned a Master of Laws in Taxation at the University of Florida Levin College of Law and a Bachelor of Science at the College of William and Mary. Julie’s practice is focused on the collaborative development of sophisticated wealth preservation plans for her clients to accomplish their objectives with respect to the disposition of their estates and the minimization of exposure to the federal gift and estate tax. In her spare time, Julie can often be found at the barn with her horse. Both Julie and her daughter ride and compete regularly in Hunter/Jumper competitions (show jumping).
